Dr. Schimp is a 1991 magna cum laude graduate of Northwestern Health Science University. He completed his neurology residency at National University of Health Sciences in 1995 and became a diplomate of the Academy of Integrative Pain Management in 1996. Dr. Schimp has taught orthopedics and neurology at Palmer University in Davenport, Iowa and clinical neurology at various locations throughout the US as an instructor for the International Chiropractic Association's pediatric, orthopedic, and neurology advanced degree programs. David was formerly an associate professor of clinical sciences and attending clinician at Texas Chiropractic College where he was among faculty members that received the W.D. Harper Science of Existence Achievement Award. He has published over 20 articles in the field of clinical neurology that have appeared in the Journal of the American Chiropractic Association, Chiropractic Technique, Topics in Chiropractic, Chiropractic Economics and The Pain Practitioner. David is certified in functional medicine, modern naturopathy, nutritional counseling. Dr. Schimp is a fellow of the International College of Chiropractic Neurology and a member of the Institute of Functional Medicine and Wisconsin Chiropractic Association.
